Webinar series
ICDS and Carole Bennett, MA of Family Recovery Solutions are pleased to announce a new webinar series entitled:
The Family Disease of Addiction
The family’s role in their loved ones addiction and recovery
For every one alcoholic/addict, there are four or five family members that are totally enmeshed in their loved ones substance abuse issues. This is the silent majority and yet they play an enormous part in the alcoholic/addict’s life (whether in recovery or not).
Like many of us, we have either personal or professional interest in the ever growing malady of the world of substance abuse. This webinar is the first of its kind to offer a guide and roadmap to anyone (whether professional or not) who might be seeking understanding and answers to the murky waters of the world of addiction and how it affects family members or friends and how we can be supportive of our loved ones in a healthy, productive way.
This June on Wednesday the 6th, Tuesday the 12th, Tuesday the 19th and Tuesday the 26th, ICDS will present a 4-part webinar with counselor Carole Bennett, MA.
Carole Bennett, MA has been a family substance abuse counselor for over a decade, author of Reclaim Your Life – You and the Alcoholic/Addict, a staff columnist for The Huffington Post and Psychology Today as well as a radio guest on over 200 stations nationwide. It is recommended that you purchase Carole’s book or her book on audio CD prior to the webinar so that you can get the most out of the sessions.
For 90 minutes and the offering of 1.5 CEUS’s for each session, these webinars will be presented twice a day to accommodate different time zones at 12:30 pm CST to 2:00 PM CST and 7:30PM to 9:00 PM CST.
The cost is $80.00 for all four or $25.00 per session and space is limited so everyone can have the opportunity to participate with the interactive phone discussion with Carole.
